William Cramp, b. Sept. 1807 on Otis Street, Kensington (now a part of Philadelphia), Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, d. 6 Jul 1879 in Atlantic City, Atlantic County, New Jersey.  He married Sophia Miller.  (Surname was originally spelled Krampf up to the Revolution, when, according to the fashion at the time, it was anglicized)
