Daniel Curtis Miles, b. 1 Jun 1827 in Westminster, Worcester County, Massachusetts, d. 22 Feb 1912 in Washington, District of Columbia, son of Daniel Miles & Mary Curtis.  He married Lucy Ann Puffer on May 22, 1851 in Westminster, Worcester County, Massachusetts.  (Descendant of Rev. John Myles, a Baptist clergyman, born in Wales in 1621 and educated at Oxford, who, being persecuted for nonconformity, left Wales and came to New England about 1663, and for many years was pastor of a Baptist church founded by him at Swansea, Massachusetts)
