Solomon Lee Van Meter, b. 11 May 1859 in Fayette County, Kentucky, d. 11 Dec 1928 in Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky, son of Solomon Van Meter & Martha Coleman Prewitt. He married Eveline Trent Swoope (1^st wife) on September 19, 1883. He married Pauline Helm Hardin (2^nd wife) in April 1904.
