Walter Sherman Whiting, b. 11 Apr 1866 in Camden, Camden County, New Jersey, d. 2 Nov 1907 in Corliss, Racine County, Wisconsin, son of Stephen Betts Whiting & Catherine "Kate" Burr Draper.  He married Maud A. Clinton on March 27, 1893 in Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey.

Wilbert L. Whiting, b. 30 Nov 1845 in West Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut, d. 16 May 1864 in Calhoun, Gordon County, Georgia, son of Henry K. Whiting & Mary Philleo.  He enlisted in the 42nd Illinois Volunteer Infantry and was killed at the battle of Resaca.
